Every student in the school has an opportunity to lead and to serve the school community in many ways.
All students, regardless of official titles, are encouraged to display leadership qualities, acting as positive role models for their peers and affirming appropriate standards of behaviour within the school.
Official leadership positions are recognised in Year 6 Leaders, Year 9 Ambassadors, Year 11 Captains and Year 12 Prefects and Head Boy and Head Girl.
Students can further develop their leadership skills in a variety of ways – as a member of the Student Representative Council, participating in Duke of Edinburgh Awards, volunteering to be a Peer Support Leader or by participating in the many sporting cultural and service areas.
The Head Girl, Head Boy and Prefect roles are positions of the highest honour. These leadership positions are a whole school Toowoomba Anglican School position and not that of just the Secondary years.
Students applying for these positions will be working towards their Leadership Honours and will continue to be a Peer Support Leader through the senior years.
Do you think you might have leadership potential? We’ll help you find out.
