Family boarding is a point of difference for Toowoomba Anglican School.

Our boarding facilities cater for the care of all children from the one family, regardless of ages. The special bond that brothers and sisters form can continue on a daily basis when boarding at Toowoomba Anglican School.

With a vibrant community of students from Toowoomba, Regional and Central Queensland, interstate and overseas, our boarding brings together young people from different backgrounds. The majority of our boarders hail from properties and regional towns but it is their shared experiences with boarders from suburbia and the cities, that develops and enhances a such special sense of community and belonging.

Located within a unique setting, our four purpose-built boarding houses enjoy outstanding views to the east with easy access to our Arts, Sporting and Academic facilities located within campus grounds. By design, Toowoomba Anglican School applies a modern approach to traditional boarding. Our Secondary and Primary boarding students are age appropriately roomed to cater specifically for the developmental needs of both.

We appreciate that parents have many factors to consider when deciding to board their children. Some decisions may be based on education, distance, others on a belief that boarding, as a life experience, is worthy in itself to take up. Once a decision to board is made, parents can be reassured that their child will be supported in a gentle environment with a focus on developing strength and resilience. Mindful of the immense trust placed in us, we consider it a privilege to journey with boarder families in this way and encourage regular contact between the school, parents and students.
