	11:30 pm - 12:15 pm	Boarding House Information Sessions
	12:15 pm	Boarders Support Group Meet & Greet - Cape Chestnut Tree Returning Boarders Begin Arriving
	1:00 pm - 3:00 pm	Laptop Collection - New & Returning Year 8-12 students Year 7 students will receive their laptops during class on Tuesday 23 January
	2:00 pm - 5:00 pm	Primary Book Drop-off & Meet the Teacher
	2:15 pm - 3:15 pm	Years 1-6 Caps & Candles
	3:30 pm - 4:30 pm	Years 7-12 Caps & Candles
	5:00 pm - 7:00 pm	Welcome Evening

Term One Commences

Caps and Candle Welcome Presentation - Chapel of Saint Aidan

Caps and Candles is our welcome service to all new students and all students entering Prep and Year 7. Students are presented with their formal school caps and are invited to light a candle to signify the start of their learning journey. All family members are welcome including siblings and grandparents.

The TAS Way

Across a student's first week at TAS, our classroom teachers and Home Room Group teachers will email you to introduce themselves and assist your family. This will include:

Uniform type days,
Munch and Crunch information for lower primary students
Upcoming special class events to save the date - also available via the school calendar
Locker allocation for secondary students.
Laptop and IT assistance, this also includes understanding timetables for secondary students
Assisting in general school knowledge for your family and orientation for each new student.

Across your son/daughter's first week at TAS, our teachers will assist students with the opportunity to sign up and join our sporting, performing arts, and specialist club opportunities.
