Friends For Life: Jo Cranney
Jo Cranney (2003 alumni) grew up on a cattle property near Goondiwindi and came to Toowoomba Anglican School as a boarder when she was just 11 years old. She is now pursuing a business venture that stems from her love and passion for the bush.
Jo says that ‘Wattle I Gift’ sprung from a desire to find the perfect gift boxes for friends and family, while supporting country makers, creators and growers. She was finding it difficult to to source what she was looking for, and spent weeks searching Australian gift sites to no avail. After months of research and product-sourcing, she has produced a wonderful collection of products from the Australian outback and country towns.
“At Wattle I Gift we have a connection to the Australian land and are passionate about supporting rural businesses and all they have to offer. We are excited to showcase our specially curated collection of products in beautiful gift boxes from the outback to your front door”, Jo says.
Supporting local business and buying products more thoughtfully is a high priority for Jo’s business. She believes there are so many incredible local rural businesses “right here in our own backyard” and it's important to celebrate these creatives.
There is an abundance of high-quality beautiful products available right here in outback and country Australia and what could be more delightful than sharing these beautiful gifts with someone special in your life.
