From the Director of Kindergarten

As Director of TAS Kindergarten, I have the wonderful opportunity of leading and learning alongside our educators, children and families in our shared vision to create an inspiring early childhood program and environment.

Toowoomba Anglican School Kindergarten was proud to be rated "exceeding" in the National Quality Standards in all areas of assessment as set by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.

We focus on building strong and caring relationships and value getting to know the unique gifts of each child. We strive to provide optimal, age appropriate learning opportunities which are safe, nurturing, respectful and fun while stimulating a sense of wonder and adventure. The dedicated staff create an environment where children’s agency is valued and their right to play and learn through play is cherished.

Our students receive endless opportunities to explore, investigate, create, and make connections with those in their community and class. The kindergarten is fortunate to have the most amazing outdoor environment where water play, sand, dirt, trees, and nature of all kinds can be found. During the hotter months, the children love playing in the sand and riverbed, experiencing making mud pies, building rivers, and sailing boats to name a few.  

Everyday life at Kindy is surrounded by our special pets. We have worms, tickle bees, regular bird visitors, bugs and beetles.
