We have a specialist Speech and Drama teacher, Mrs Ros McIvor, for individual and paired lessons. In February, 5 students were presented with awards for the highest and second-highest awards in the state for their 2017 ACM Examinations. In 2018, ? students received the highest or second- highest mark in the state for their ACM Examinations.

The Empire Theatre Youth Arts Program run group drama classes after school. Mr Oldham facilitated a very popular Primary Theatre-Sports Club on a Thursday lunch. Mr Oldham held drama workshops at Miles and Condamine State Schools during the school holidays. Neeve Whittaker (Year 6)successfully auditioned for the Empire Theatre Junior IMPACT Ensemble and Ben Anderson (Year 10)successfully auditioned for the Empire Theatre Senior IMPACT Ensemble. They created self-devised plays and performed at the Empire Armitage Theatre to capacity audiences. Jasmine Barui (Year 11)and Cameron McConville (Year 10) were awarded the very prestigious Empire Theatre Youth Arts Bursaries to further their Performing Arts studies at a high level.
