Our school is renowned for its choral program and we have many students singing at National and State level. With four voice teachers, we have many students from Year 1-12 who study voice. There are 10 choirs from Foundation to Secondary. Students audition for high-level choirs, sing in our school choirs, undertake vocal examinations, compete in eisteddfodau and sing in concerts.

There are two auditioned Chapel Choirs for Primary and Secondary students. The Chapel Choirs led the singing at our Chapel Services and at school functions, as well as at performing at community events, festivals and competitions.

There is a Primary Senior Choir and College Performance Choir, which all students are encouraged to join. All of our students from Foundation to Year 4 are involved in choral immersion programs in their year levels. We are thrilled that there are two boy’s choirs (Secret Men’s Business) for Primary and Secondary students, who both won the Boys’ choir sections at the Toowoomba Eisteddfod.

Highlights in 2018 for our choral program include:

  • College Performance Choir won the Secondary Choir section at the Toowoomba Eisteddfod in a hotly contested section with 96/100
  • Secondary Chapel Choir came 2nd and 3rd in the Secondary Hymn Singing and Spiritual
